Former Indian Ambassador and Noted Member of India's Foreign Policy Establishment
Join us for a talk about two superpower nations and their foreign policy! Mr Sudhir Devare, former Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has served as the Indian ambassador to South Korea and Indonesia, and was a Visiting Professor at the Centre of East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. As Secretary, he dealt with India's economic relations and was closely associated with its ‘Look-East’ policy and relations with the Asia-Pacific. He is a Member of the Eminent Persons and Experts Group of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), and has authored/edited several books on India's ties with China and South-East Asia.
