The University of Oxford India Society (OIS) was honored to host Mr Kailash Satyarthi, for the Oxford-India Speaker Series event on April, 25, 2017.

 Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014, Kailash Satyarthi is a leading advocate for children’s rights and education in the world. He founded the Bachpan Bachao Andolan to fight against child labour and provide better lives to those affected by it. Spanning over 35 years, Mr. Satyarthi’s works has touched the lives of thousands. His work has been pivotal in not only developing national and international conventions on child labour and policy reforms but have also been successful in raising awareness on the issue.
